Red Hot Chili Peppers cover Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’

Red Hot Chili Peppers have covered Nirvana’s grunge classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

The band played a benefit concert for Los Angeles’ Silverlake Conservatory of Music on Saturday, October 29, and covered the iconic track during their set. Anthony Kiedis sang the first verse with his mesh shirt pulled over his head before guitarist John Frusciante took over singing the chorus.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers released their second album of 2022 last month.
