Bright Eyes to reissue first three albums, share three new songs ft. Waxahatchee, Phoebe Bridgers

Bright Eyes have announced a huge reissue and re-recording project for 2022.

Out this year on Dead Oceans, the band will be reissuing their first three albums. On May 27th, we’ll get reissues of A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997, Letting Off The Happiness, and Fevers and Mirrors. These three releases come as part of an even larger reissue project, which will see Bright Eyes reissuing all nine studio albums. Alongside the reissues, the band will release a Companion EP featuring five new recordings of songs on the original release and a cover from an artist they were inspired by at the time of recording.

Today, Bright Eyes have released three new Companion recordings. We’ve gotten a preview of the first three reissues with “Falling Out of Love At This Volume,” “Contrast And Compare (feat. Waxahatchee),” and “Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh (feat. Phoebe Bridgers).”

Listen to those three previews and watch a trailer for the Companion series below.
