Afropunk releases 2024 lineup

Afropunk is relocating to Prospect Park for 2024, with the event set to take place at the Lena Horne Bandshell on August 23 and 24, in collaboration with the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival.

Friday’s events, hosted by Amari, will include a Ballroom Battle with Fight Club NYC, a Battle of the Bands featuring Big.Ass.Kids, wrestling showcases by Legacy Pro Wrestling, and a performance by Larissa Luz.

Saturday’s lineup includes Durand Bernarr, DJ Moma from Everyday People, and a punk stage hosted by Gitoo with performances by Jenny Hates Techno, Hue, Phunky Nomads, Breezy Supreme, Rebelmatic, and Winter Wolf.
